The Guided Modelling experience
Working in a whole new way
Once you have made a package ‘managed’, modellers who use that package will have a new experience when they use EA.

Model Expert will guide a modeller to create the right type of diagram, and give them a fast start to adding content. | Creating a new diagram |
The Reference Model can help modellers populate new diagrams by prompting them with the element and connector types that are expected on each diagram type. | Advanced customized UI properties |
Once a modeller has created their diagram, it’s easy to check it. If the RM rules are good, and you have used ‘strict’ modelling then there should be no errors. But you might still encourage modellers to have Model Expert check their diagrams
NB The check diagram technique can also be used on any legacy* diagrams in your model (* diagrams created before you started using Model Expert Reference Models) |
