Printing diagrams
eaDocX has lots of options when you print a diagram.
These are available from the Preview pane, by right-clicking a diagram.
The options are:
- Normal. Just prints the diagram, with a figure number below the image. For more options on printing figure numbers, and the document notes, see Document settings
- Diagram and all contents. Prints the diagram picture (as above) then all of the elements in the diagram. See below
- Contents, no diagram. Use this if you don’t want to print the diagram, but do want it’s contents.
Using this option, you can create a diagram with a totally custom set of the elements, from anywhere in the model, and print them all in one section. - Exclude diagram – whole document. Stops this section, or any other sections, from printing the diagram
- Exclude diagram – this section. Stops this section from printing the diagram, but it might appear somewhere else, in another section.
