HELP! I recently had a machine rebuild, with a new installation of EA 10.x (under Windows 7 Enterprise). It was a couple of days before I got my plug-ins but I think EA was working OK. When they installed the plug-ins I went for the latest eaDocX (3.4.0.4) plus a bunch of other plug-ins at versions that had been previously installed.
Now I get a message “Enterprise Architect – UML development tools has stopped working” when I try and access menu options by right-clicking in the project browser, making EA virtually unuasable. The problem exists on the server model and local copies. None of my colleagues have any problems, but they are not using eaDocX (except for one using 3.3.15.x). eaDocX is my first suspect, but I am unsure whether to upgrade to the latest 3.4.x version, or regress to a 3.3.x version.
Is this something you are aware of and have fixed in the latest version? Can you advise?
Heather
No idea about this one. And not one I can test. Sorry
I’ve just had an administrator try later and earlier versions of eaDocX. Neither fixes the problem, so we’re guessing its an issue with my EA installation.
Thanks
Heather
