Hi, I’m struggling to get activity graphs to appear within my document.
My preview pane displays the blue diagram symbol next to my activity diagram, diagram option is set to normal, all parent packages are set to print also. (see attached)
In my profile tab I see elements; Acitivity, Decision, Message, Package, Requirement, Scenario, StateNode and Use Case. I didn’t specifically add the Activity and Decision elements to the profile, It was initiated by inserting a package into my document – which contained all the elements now in the profile. (see attached)
Is there something else I need to add to my profile in order to get my activity graphs to print?
Thanks
Ali
Try printing the package using Quick Document. That will usually find most things which are user that package, and under any child elements of the package.
Also, there look to be some Inline-printing elements with no titles – hence the blank after the Heading icon, so worth a look at those as well. Also make sure that whatever has your Activity Diagram as a child diagram has a profile to print its diagrams: in a Quick Document, packages print their diagrams, but I’m not sure if Elements do as well.
Thanks for the tips.
I added titles for all headings and checked that all parent packages and elements are set to print diagrams. Still no luck. I found that the quick document gives me hundreds of pages so isn’t that useful.
I did however figure out the problem, I needed to add ‘Children’ as a sub element!
Children!
Always a problem…
