How do I trouble shoot ” Application Error! Please contact administrator.”
Trying to set up Collaboration (1.4). I have the web server software seemingly correctly installed. I’ve generated the HTML document to the same web server. When I copy the link to notify reviewers, then get ” Application Error! Please contact administrator.”

There are lots of reasons why this might happen: Web server, ODBC, security, database…
For exactly this reason, we’ve tried to log everything that happens in the web server. So the place to look to find out more is in the logs files.
There are two, both in /Files/logs
1. logYYYY-MM-DD which is the general log, for all web server stuff
2. ODBCActivityLog, for finer detail on just the ODBC bits.
If you look in these logs, then you can see what happening. So far, we’ve always been able to figure out where the problem is using the information in the logs, even it it means Googling some stuff.
Logs looked pretty ordinary… except for this part… &httpPath=http://http://lcospxwsd1.gwl.bz/eadocx/

And now my trial has expired so I can’t troubleshoot any more. 🙁 I’ve emailed about getting an extension, but no response so far.
In looking at the logs, the current issue is:
5/5/2016 5:44:13 PM ERROR [IM014] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application.
Google seems to indicate the issue is between the driver 32 vs 64 bit and the application 32 vs. 64 bit.
I’ve attached driver information on my ODBC connection.
The web server is on Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit, IIS 7.5, SQL Server Expresss 64 bit.
Which driver should I be using to work with your web application?
it needs to be a 32-bit ODBC connection (we think this is because EA is still a 32 bit application).
Thanks, set up the 32 bit ODBC and this problem is resolved.
