Am on 4.3.0.3 of EADoc and EA version 15.2.1554
If I try to export a package of requirements into Excel by
right clicking on package > Specialise > EAXL > Open In Excel
or
Specialise > Addins/EAXL > Create new workbook from main EA ribbon
It no longer comes up with screen to allow me to choose columns to extract, it just extracts straight away and shows Element Type and Name only in the workbook.
The parameter screen has disappeared.
Is this a configuration issue. It worked on previous versions. I cant see how to get it to work at all.
Did you change computers? May be an issue with high-DPI screens.
If so, change text size parameter in Windows to 100%, and re-start EA.
Also, think about inslalling latest eaDocX version – now V5
I havent changed computers , its not a high DPI screen (have used it before ok), have installed 5.0.2.0 and it is doing the same.
I always right click on package and do it this way.
As soon as you choose “Open in Excel” it shows the “Exporting” screen showing progress and shows work book, there is no parameter screen to add new columns/sort order etc.
The new ‘exporting’ screen will stay until all the data has been exported. Once everything is exported, it will go away. If it’s still there, maybe eaXL is still working ?
Once it’s gone, you’ll see the familiar page where you can choose element types etc.
