Trial guide #2 – Different Document Structures
With eaDocX your document structure doesn’t have to follow your model structure. Which means you don’t have to re-organize your model each time you create a different document.
Choosing the right document structure
The simplest is where the EA Structure is used for the document structure (this is what Quick Document uses). But with eaDocX you can also:
- Use relationships to determine the structure.
- Use diagram contents
- Add an Element Report or a Matrix Report
- Add a section based on a Model View Favorites folder.
- Generate cross reference sections
Previewing your Document Structure
A single document can contain many sections – each one based on one of these content types. The eaDocX Preview panel gives a summary of what is in each section – and from there you can edit the profile which controls how the elements and relationships print in each case.
