Conditional Formatting
With eaDocX you can add conditional formatting to Inline paragraphs, cells within tables and cells within a Matrix Report.
Element profiles
For Inline or Table element profiles, click the Conditional Formatting icon: in the element Profile editor.
This lets you define a set of rules which will apply to a single attribute or cell.
You can set:
- Rule type (see below)
- Conditions for that rule type (see below)
- Relacement text – text to use when the rule & condition are met
- Back color – shading color, for the text background (inline) or the cell (table or matrix)
- Text color
- Wether to apply this to the whole row (inline only). For example, the rule might say Text, same as ‘Wibble’ back color = red, which in a table will make all the cells in the row color Red if the text in the cell = ‘Wibble’.
