Why eaDocX?

eaDocX was written as an extension to Enterprise Architect, to allow us to print ready-to-publish Word documents for the projects we were working on.

We found that the built-in EA RTF generator didn’t create documents of the standard we needed – ready-to-publish, and showing all the richness of the analysis & design work we had put into EA.

eaDocX has been through many iterations, starting out as a set of Word macros, then a stand-alone application, and finally an EA Extension.

This extension was created by Ian Mitchell, with help from a number of others, too numerous to mention, plus feedback from various Beta testers.
