Export to and Import from Excel
Any eaSheets generated spreadsheet – elements in a package or a Smart sheet, including connector information – can be saved as an Excel file, to be shared with non-EA stakeholders for off-line editing.
Once external editing is complete, open the Excel sheet in eaSheets by selecting Specialize > eaSheets > Open Excel Spreadsheet in the Top EA ribbon menu.
To see the changes that have been made, and before importing, we recommend you Compare sheet with EA 
. This produces a copy of the sheet with the changed and added fields highlighted in color.
Select Import into EA 
, and the changes from the spreadsheet will update your EA model.
