I guess the first thing to get working is making EA store your characters.
It MAY help to follow the instructions in the EA Help, and enable Unicode characters, by using the JET 4.0 engine (EA, Tools, Options, General).
Once you can store the character in EA, then eaDocX has a chance of printing it.
We do support Unicode characters, as many european languages have non-ascii character sets (Polish, Hungarian, Slovenian etc), and eaDocX works fine with those languages.
So, get EA to work first, then see if eaDocX is happy.
