I’m trying to create a word report in A3 Landscape – is this possible with eaDocX? it appears to adjust the margins as if the paper was A4 and hence only uses half the page.
We don’t have A3 – landscape or portrait – as test cases, so i’m afraid we have no wisdom to offer.
I can say that eaDocX doesn’t know much about the target format in Word e.g. page size, as we leave that to Word documents to organise. The only setting in eaDocX which relates to this is the help we give you when creating tables which might overflow an A4 page, but this is only guidance.
Please post when you discover what happens!
Finally finished my document and this appears to work OK. As expected the biggest issue is to do with the userability of word.
One thing to note, don’t set the options to print Diagrams in Landscape (if all your document is in Landscape) as this inserts a section break before and after the Diagram, and also sets the following section to Portrait (which it assumes is the default)
