We quite often use the break function in a profile to add a subheading (e.g. before a diagram, so that it does not appear to be part of the content of the previous subheading).
I have to apply the required heading style after document production. It would be really useful if there was a mechanism for applying a specific heading style e.g. via the conditional formatting option. I appreciate that it woul be up to the user to ensure this was applied intelligently.
A safer alternative would be to allow the title field to be toggled on/off as a heading at the current level. This would meet most of our needs – but I have recently come across more complex structuring requirements.
I added some function in 3.3.9 to insert the name of a Diagram as a heading, immediately before the diagram. As with most new behaviour, it’s set by default to be ‘off’.
Have a look in the Diagram options for your document, and see if this gives you what you need.
OK. I’ll look at that when I get the next version installed by IT (hopefully today). It will provide a solution of sorts, but ideally we prefer to have the same set of subheadings for each element, rather than some that are standardise and others that are element-specific (specific diagram name)
