I have a tagged value defined as follows:
AppliesTo=GUIElement;
Type=RefGUID;
Values=Attribute;
When I generate the section containing elements with this tagged value as draft I get the following output for the tagged value:
¶OREF,Attribute,{0E15AA1F-4C9D-415b-ADB6-9B52BF4245A7},NAME§
If I do a full generation nothing is displayed. Looks like a bug to me, or am I doing anything wrong?
Regards

In the eaDocX Trace, if you select the line which says ‘unexpected error’, is there more detail available? i.e. does the ‘More Details’ button get enabled? This should give me some more clues.17 November 2014 at 10:04 am #7930Frank ErtlParticipantSorry, no “More details…” enabled, see attached screenshot.
17 November 2014 at 10:12 am #7931eadocX SupportParticipantNo matter. I have found the error: I just had not implemented the case of a TV being strongly-typed to Attributes or Methods.
Fix will be in this week’s maintenance release, which will 3.5.3.
Also, as I was testing this fix, I noticed some very strange EA ‘features’: when I created the new TV type, it only appeared in the list when I stopped EA and re-started it. Even a model re-load was not enough.17 November 2014 at 10:19 am #7932Frank ErtlParticipantThank you very much! Yeah, EA is a little bit strange sometimes when it comes to customization 😉
19 November 2014 at 3:47 pm #7933eadocX SupportParticipantImplemented in 3.5.4
