Change File name after Version tracking

Hi,

I enabled the Document Management and generated different versions for the document. Later on I realized I need to change the file name. I tried many ways like:
-Manually changed the file name, then reopen in eadox and regenerated—Still the old file name.
–Open the new file in eadox, Change the Document Details-Name in eadox,then regenerated from eadox-Still the old file name, no change.

Anyone knows how to resolve this?

If you do it carefully, you can rename a file by:

1. Ensuring the document is not open in eaDocX or Word

Renaming the file on disk

3. Opening the Document details window by double-clicking on the «eaDocXDocument» element
4. Linking the Version(s) in the versions tab to the new file(s)

Not guaranteed to work under all circumstances, but should be worth a try.
