We are seeing some concatenation of text output into an eaDocX document. The profile for the element is defined as a table. The output text is
“Treatment delay (”
whereas the expected text (as contained in the EA field) is
“Treatment delay (<30mins) - No effect"
Is there a switch that will limit the output to the size of the table cell width?
More likely is that eaDocX is trying to interpret the ‘less than’ character as the start of an HTML tag.
I’m guessing that this comes in a ‘notes’ field – is that right ?
Yes, this is the case. If we change the ‘<' symbol to 'less than' in words, the concatenation doesn't occur. It a notes type field. String fields don't suffer the same issue but I believe they have a tighter restriction of the number of characters which is why we didn't use a string type in this case. Is there any known workaround please?
