Hello,
I attempted to export tables from a data modelling diagram from EA to Excel.
I get the table name + stereotype with the Element Type = Class.
I then created a new table in Excel that I imported into EA.
Thanks to the Table stereotype, EA provides me the Table’s specific properties (e.g. Table Details) however I noticed that the element’s icon displayed in the Project Browser is that of a class.
Hence this element is not exactly created as other tables from a data modelling diagram.
Are there any recommandations to create a ‘true table’?
Are tables’ columns supported with eaXL via the attributes export/import?
Is there any known overall workaround for tables + columns?
thanks
Guillaume
