Hello, In version 1.3.5.3, for the model and template document, there is an error in generating the caption under the picture presenting the class diagram.
In the template -> Figure 1: 3.1.1.1. Notification of PP characteristic change In the version after generation, this caption is missing.
The problem occurs when opening the ZIK Group 3 template.v2.9.0 document -> clicking on Generate -> standard. Example in ZIK Group 4 short after generation v2.9.0 (1).
However, after clicking on “expand” (graphics 1 and 2) and going through the Generate -> standard process again, the caption under the picture is generated correctly. Example in ZIK Group 4 short after generation v2.9.0 (2).
I am adding a .qea file with the model and the base document (correctly mapped elements named ZIK Group 4 short template.v2.9.0).
Unfortunately, I can’t attach the model file (it’s necessary to diagnose the error) as an attachment, so I’m sending a link to WeTransfer.

When I re-generate your document (the ‘Short template..) one, I see a caption under the diagram, as expected.
What are you expecting?
Note: the ‘Preview’ tree view in eaDocX is designed to give you and idea of what your document will probably look like. It will not be 100% the same as the final document, because all kinds of information are left out from the tree view, so that it’s easy to understand. It’s mostly there to see where you have excluded items, and as way to see the overall document structure.
Please cn you provide a simple document which shows the problem (your ZIP file has 3) which show where the problem is.8 May 2024 at 8:19 am #20573PiotrParticipantHi,
In version 1.3.6.0, captions are generated under the diagrams, but the problem now is that in case more than one image with a diagram appears, the numbering of Figure 1 starts from the second image, under the first one the caption is not generated.I am attaching a link with screenshots and sample documents (in the version with one diagram and a longer one with several diagrams in the document).
10 May 2024 at 8:51 am #20582Ian MitchellKeymasterWith the current version (1.3.6.0) I can get your example to print all the titles of the diagrams under the diagram, but that title is on a new page.
This is because the diagram in EA is on a normal A4 portrait page, but your document print everything landscape.
I try to fit thw whole diagram into a new page, so it is as large as possible, but you have quite a larger footer area, wich is interfering with the diagram image.
So i don’t know what do do about this.
Please can you test with 1.3.6.0 or higher, to make sure the diagram title is printed.13 May 2024 at 8:49 am #20586PiotrParticipantHello,
The issue of “shifting the picture with the diagram” is not a problem, but the lack of generating a caption under the first diagram (we have several documents with the same structure, in which there are more than one diagram). I am sending a screenshot in which you can see that the generation of the caption starts from the second and not from the first diagram (“Figure 1: 2.2.1.1 …” should be “Figure 2: 2.2.1.1 …”). Regarding orientation, after changing to vertical for the first diagram, the problem still occurs.Attachments:

13 May 2024 at 2:50 pm #20591Ian MitchellKeymasterI still can not reproduce this issue. I have created a new version – 1.3.6.1 – which fixes some other issues to do with diagrams – such as replacing the word ‘Figure ‘ with your local national langauge word (I think you use ‘Rysunek’ ) in the diagram caption, but this should not fix your issue.
I am not sure what elese I can do wit hthis issue. PLease can you try with v 1.3.6.1, perhaps with a simplified test case, and see if you can reproduce the problem in a really simple document. I have tried this, and the numbering looks ok.14 May 2024 at 6:41 am #20592PiotrParticipantHi, thanks for the quick response, I will update to the newer version and test it.
15 May 2024 at 10:11 am #20601PiotrParticipantA brief update, at the moment of generation, the performances are generated correctly twice in a row. So it is necessary to double generate each document to generate a signature under the first diagram.
