Hello,
I have formatted notes in classes that I need to update in bulk via Excel.
eaXL export HTML tags which is great as I maintains the formatting, and allows users to update it if needed.
A great improvement would be to provide an option to automatically translate these HTML tags to be rendered as expected in Excel via the Export, whilst doing the reverse with the Import to EA.
Is this something that could be considered for a future release?
I’ve looked into this before, and I think I discovered that there isn’t an easy way to render HTML in an Excel cell. There doesn’t seem to be an Excel format for ‘HTML’
I’ll try to find an Excel macro to convert the HTML after the import, and before the export to EA.
