For large sections it would be very useful to have a chance to control what content has to be put into portrait vs. landscape page orientation mode. is there a way to do this with eaDocX?

    Sadly not….
..but it’s on our list of things to look at again.
Doing this means we have to dive deep into MS Word, and make sure we only make a small part of the document go into Landscape, and don’t change the rest. so far, we have not managed to make this reliable enough.
We’ll have another look in V3.1m as v3.0 has closed for new features.

    Oh Yes!
    You can now:

    • Make each table of a specific element & stereotype print Landscape
    • Print diagrams Landscape, where they are configured in EA to be Landscape format (and you override the setting in the eaDocX document settings)
    • Use different Word Table Styles for different types of element & stereotype
    • Print Excel Charts and reports in Landscape pages
    • Print Element Reports and Matrix reports in Landscape pages

Hopefully, that covers most cases where Portrait doesn’t look good.
