    We have a slow LAN where the EA client and eaDocX run much more slowly against a shared database repository (we are using Oracle) than against a local .EAP file. On a hunch, we installed the Sparx WAN optimizer service, and found that it improved the response time noticeably when accessing the database repository. This might be worth a try if you are experiencing network performance issues.
