Loading Existing Document into Document Management

Hi Support.

I am trying to load an existing document into Document Management. While the document generates just fine, I do not get the DM popup on generation.

EADocX 5.0.5.3 – Collaboration License
Sparx 15.2.1559 – Ultimate License
MS Word for 365 MSO – 16.0.1436.20344 32 bit

All new documents go into DM fine.

Existing generated documents that were initially excluded from DM will not.

I have:
1. Set default to DM for the repository
2. Set default to DM for the document

Is there are way to force a document into DM or a safe way to manually add the document to DM?

Here are the steps from Help:

1.Enable and setup Document Management (see Setting-up Document Management) – Verified
2.Open the document in eaDocX in the normal way, (I’m using the menu option “Open Word Document” which I hope is the “normal way” 🙂 )
and re-generate it (Full Generate) – Generation works perfectly.

3.You’ll then be asked to provide some details about the document: – This does not happen.

I have added a fix, so that you can introduce a new document into eaDocX by just setting ‘Use Document Management’ in the document settings.
This is available now in v5.0.5.4
