Hi
I am doing a project that has a list of objectives. Our preferred format, for documenting objectives, is as follows:
Objectives
The project will achieve the following objectives:
(Different colour is not intentional or required. It’s the bullet point I want)
I can achieve this format by writing all the objectives into the description of a single package, with the objectives as bullet points. I would like each objective be an element in it’s own right, so I can track and trace to them as individual items. I have tried making the objectives individual elements, but was unable to get them to display as bullet points.
Is there a way of achieving this?
Thanks
A very sensible requirement!
..but not one I think eaDocX can deliver for you right now.
For the elements to appear in a list like this, they would need to print ‘inline’, but they wouldn’t have bullet points.
In the next version (3.4) you’ll be able to write little scripts to print elements however you like, and this looks like a great test case for that function!
…which is no help for you in the short term.
Have you looked at inline tables? Might get you a bit closer to what you need…
Thanks for the reply. Looks like v3.4 will help. Yes, I have thought about inline tables and may give that a try.
