Home › Forums › eaDocX queries › Problem with generation of sub (child) activities
Hi,
in my model I have activities with sub (child) activites. The sub activities are owned by theire parent activities. The problem is, that the sub activities won’t get generated to the MS Word document although they are listed in the preview of eaDocX correctly.
Any idea how I can get them generated to my Word document?
Regards,
Fabian
I’m assuming that the eaDocX Profile for the parent is set to print ‘children’?
Can you send an example XMI to support@eadocx
Do you mean the parent profile has to set to “print children” or it should NOT be set?
Should be set.
Yes, that’s it.
Because the eaDox profile for “package” do not need “print children” I thought it is the same for activities.
No it works, thanks a lot.
Fabian
Ah yes.
We decided that EVERYONE will want to print children of a Package, so it’s built-in, but that’s not the case for other kinds of Elements: with them, you have to explicitly say you’d like the children to print.
