Selecting a dotx template from eaDocX

Is there any intention to widen the Open file capabilities in eaDocX to include selection of a dotx template, rather than only a doc or docx? This would help avoid populating and overwriting the master copy by mistake, which I seem often to do.

Ideally, the template could be selected from a normal file location i.e. preferably not defaulting to the Microsoft Word Templates folder, and allow easy saving to the same or a nearby directory i.e. not defaulting to My Documents.

Hi Heather,
Short answer – yes.
The only thing stopping me is finding an Microsoft Word API which tells me what the available dotx templates are. If anyone knows where to find this information, I’d code it tomorrow!
