Sorting of messages in sequence diagram not correc

When outputting the messages associated with a sequence diagram they are not listed in the expected order i.e. 1.0,1.1,1.2,…. but in a strange way 1, 2, 11, 12 â€¦ 20,3,21,â€¦

How can the messages be listed in the sequence they are displayed (and ennumerated in the diagram)
