Home › Forums › eaDocX queries › Table of tables update doesn’t work properly
Hi,
the EAP file and documents in the attached archive demonstrate the following problem:
The EA model TableOfTables.eap contains one Requirements package with 2 requirements.
The document TableOfTables_Before_Generation.docx contains
– an empty table of tables field
– 1 manually created table Stakeholders with table caption
– 1 Glossary section to be generated
– 1 Element Report section for creating a Requirements table
The option “Print figure number for each table” is enabled
Problem:
After generation (TableOfTables_After_Generation.docx) the table of tables only contains the entry about the manually created table. Neither the Glossary table nor the Requirements table are listed. Removing the Glossary section (which contains a broken table caption) doesn’t make any difference.
I am using eaDocX v3.9.5.1, EA corporate edition 12.0.1215 and Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus 2016.
Is it a known bug and will it be fixed?
Thanks and regards
Markus
You’re right – the glossary doesn’t get created with the relevant Word tags to make it a table.
I have added this to the backlog for V4, which is now being designed.
…but I can’t promise it will make the first release 🙁
