Doug BlakeParticipant
I reported long ago that once eaDocX is open, these panes are invisible to word within ea and outside if opened after the eaDocX doc.
Doug BlakeParticipantAny idea why it might be crashing so often?
Doug BlakeParticipantIt looks like the Word style for level 2 headings includes highlight on. So change it …
Doug BlakeParticipantI don’t really understand why not, since if I copy the table from the rtf and paste into Word it looks right
Doug BlakeParticipantI’ve also noticed that the font changes to Times New Roman
Doug BlakeParticipantThis happened to me today.
Doug BlakeParticipantI see the options you have but they aren’t on a diagram by diagram basis.
From your comment about a busy GUI, are we to glean that new features are going to be fewer and harder to get? 🙁
Doug BlakeParticipantWell that seemed to work, Preview and Profile are now back.
Doug BlakeParticipantI have just rebooted and thought to uninstall eaDocX so into Control Panel/Programs & Features. There is no trace of version 3.4.2.1 only 3.4.0.4. So I am removing that before attempting to re-install the latest version
Doug BlakeParticipantSeems reasonable but since you offer!! In my case, I would be happy to use the order in which they appear in the total project tree.
I have projects for Functional Spec, Technical Spec, Software Spec, Verification Spec and Validation Spec each of which have their own documents. Tracing is done in a separate project through these diagrams. So taking ordering from the order in which the elements appear would be great. I realise however this is ME specific, so thanks for the offer anyway.
Doug BlakeParticipantCould you apply stereotypes to packages?
Doug BlakeParticipantI don’t seem to have the option to print the InstanceClassifier variable.
I currently have the following variables in the Elements related to:Port table
ParentAlias where I have put a copy of the InstanceClassifier for the parent (not very tidy)
ParentName which only includes the name of the instance
DGCON_Relationship Name which names the relationship and
DGCON_Relationship DescriptionDoug BlakeParticipantI have found the answer to my problem and its not the fault of eaDocX.
Because I had components and instances, I moved all the instances to an invisible folder as far as the document was concerned, when I should have done the opposite. Relationship only relate to instances, not the base components.
OOPs Doug
Doug BlakeParticipantYou could SAVE AS PDF and send that to the customer!
Doug BlakeParticipantActually that’s not quite true, I have added 2 new sections to the end of the document.
