Just tried to reproduce this, with no luck. I still get the correct formatting at all the levels. (Heading levels 7,8,9 are different, because these aren’t defined by HTML, so some settings changes are needed, but the rest seems fine)
Can you mail me a document (and the doc template you based the document on) so I can try to reproduce it ?

    How does this manifest itself?
I’ve just tried changing the definition of my H1 in Word, then re-generated the document, and the new style was used. Closed & re-opened the document, and re-generated again, and it still used the new style.
What are you doing exactly ?

Has your machine had eaDocX versions before? Or older EA versions ? Or older Office versions?
Is eaDocX in the list of Extensions ?

Thanks – I’ll look at this for 3.4, if not before.
It will look like “Alias – Name “

When you specify the widths of the columns in a table, we try to show you approximately the total width. These are the column widths which we tell Word to use.
However, Word tries to “help” and sometimes changes these widths. Sometimes that’s useful, where a narrow column has some long words in it. Then Word will expand the column. But all attempts to fix the column width precisely have failed, and I’ve now given up. Word is just too “helpful”.

…and that’s the indication which I use to make sure I format it as a URL, not regular text.
I can make it work with http and https in from of the URL, so i’m a bit lost as to what the issue is ???

This seems to work as well.
I needed to put [code]”https://store.eadocx.com”%5B/code%5D as the hyperlink, but that printed fine – I had fixed this as well.

I have checked this again, it it works OK for me in 3.3.11.
I am adding a link to the Notes of an element, adding a link using the (World+Link) icon, then adding Type = “Web Site”, address = “http://store.eadocx.com”.
eaDocX prints this in the Notes/Description field as a hyperlink to store.eadocx.com.
Did I misunderstand what you wanted ?

That’s odd. That was the first bit of this release I built. I’ll check it ….

We had some issues with this, where eaDocX had
    – a list of elements to print,
    – all are children of the same package/element,
    – they have a profile which says to print each type of element as ‘table’
Question is: how to control the order of printing of the tables?
We used to find the first ‘table’ element, and then gather all the elements of the same type together in the first table, then move down the list to get the first one of the next type, then print all those.
The problem with this is that the order of the elements in the package is not meaningful: it’s probably just the order in which they were created.
So now, to make it deterministic, and so that we don’t need the user to specify more information, the tables are printed in alphabetical order of the element type (Activity, Requirement, Use Case), and within each element type, by stereotype.
So Event elements will print , , as you observed.
Question is, where and how do you say that
, , is the right sequence for Events ?
Simplest solution, if you want to control the sequence is to make sub-packages for each of the element types and/or stereotypes. Then eaDocX will respect the order of the Packages.
This is how I usually do it, as it has the additional benefit of making the model easier to read, and I get a Package heading before each table, and a chance to put some Notes into each Package to say what <> events are.
