Hi,
There are two reasons:
1.
Sometimes it would be helpful to refer to a given requirement within the document describing features ad requirements. This reference is something extra than matrix between them both.2.
We have corporate document template with dedicated areas where we should include links to requirements. It would be easier for me to manually input those references in Word directly, rather than create artificial structure in EA to create such tables in eaDocX.Sz.
SzymonParticipantBest regard
SzymonParticipantThat’s perfect. I’ll check 🙂
As I see I could help something 😉 may I assume that I’ll get some discount purchasing the commercial vesion of the eaDocX?
Thanks 🙂

SzymonParticipantHi,
Word shows the same style as defined under docx via eaDocX. So:
Introduction: “No.Heading1”
RequirementsAAA: SP_H (while SP_H is a copy of the “No.Heading1”.Moreover….replacing the style SP_H by it’s source and MS Word has changed the font size for the chapter number but not for the chapter name… (as on the printscreen)
Summary: nothing works.

SzymonParticipantNo. My style SP_H was used by “RequirementsAAA”.
And the SP_H style is just a copy of the source style used by the ‘1 – Introduction’.Therefore I’ve expected that both headings will use the same font size – why not?
SzymonParticipantOK, I have managed to do so in the different way.
This overview.pdf is a bit misleading.
I have just used options as on the print screen and they work.
The clue is to:
– set the new styles within word doc created and open via eaDocX
– refresh styles available in the drop down via the button at the bottom.EOT,
SzSzymonParticipantBTW: what types of DBs are suppotred by eaDocX?
What type is recomeded?SzymonParticipantThat’s sad about PostgreSQL…
Would you pls let me know wher I could find the log traced items?
SzymonParticipantHi,
I’m using postgreSQL repository.Would you pls advice how to enable technical tracing from EA?
Many thanks,
SzSzymonParticipantOK, but is there any other way to achieve this goal? 🙂
SzymonParticipantThat’s the point. I was expecting that eaDocx looks into my package and present all elements which are there. However it does not work as this.
Thre is nowhere ACTOR element on the list while this elements exist on my diagrams in EA.Pls look at the attached print screens. They wil let you understand my dagrams and what I see in the Add Element drop down menu.

SzymonParticipantApologies but HELP is not helpful enough.
I have a package with two diagram and one of them is a use case diagrams with actors (each of them is assigned to a given stereotype). I have generated QuickDoc and went to Profile tab. theer is Add Element button and when I press it I see very limited number of element types. There is nowhere ACTOR element.
How could I add ACTOR element to the profile in this case?

SzymonParticipantOK, so would you please let me know which object uner tab [Prifile] I should customize to achieve aforementioned effect?
I cannto see there “Diagram” item, so should I with “Package”?
Thanks,
