Getting ready for eaDocX Floating Licences

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Using floating licences means you will need to run a small Licence Server Application (LSA) on a machine within your network, and to which all eaDocX users need to have connectivity. This alone may make it hard to implement Floating Licences in your organisation, as this can sometimes be surprisingly hard. This LSA is created by us at eaDocX, and sent to you to be installed on your server. The LSA is unique to your company: it won't run anywhere else, and uses secure, encrypted storage to keep licence key details.

When you order eaDocX floating licences  you will be asked for the IP Address of the machine on which the LSA will run. If you later want to move the LSA to another server, you will need to contact support@eaDocX.com to get a new LSA for the new IP Address.
