Guided Modeling
Deliver immediate modeling guidance to Enterprise Architect modelers with Model Expert. We call it ‘Guided Modeling‘.
- Create tailored User Interfaces for critical element types with the key fields to be populated
- Specify packages which contain re-usable elements to prevent creation of duplicates
- Add pop-up messages and drop-down lists containing just the permitted options when a modeler is trying to add something non-standard
- Integrate bespoke modeling Help and include links to your best practice modeling examples in EA or on an intranet site or website
Guide or control? Your choice
You may just want to offer advice and guidance to your team (Soft mode) or insist that modelers have to follow the rules (Hard mode). Model Expert lets you choose, and apply the appropriate mode, at the level of individual packages.
Guided modeling
Guided modeling works with any Reference Models in your model. You can see and edit the packages which are using Reference Models in the Model Expert Browser.
