Diagram check rules
When Model expert checks a diagram, the following rules may be applied.
Rules

| Diagram type | If the type of diagram is defined in the Reference Model | Only when checking against RM and RM diagram type |
| For each element in the diagram | ||
| Is in Reference Model | If the element type is defined in the Reference Model | |

Annotated diagram
When you Check a Diagram with Model Expert, if there are violations of the rules in the Reference Model, Model Expert will take a copy of your diagram, and annotate it with information about the violations.
These will come from the validation rules from the Reference Model, and will be shown colored according to the Repository Settings.
