Baseline map

The baseline map gives you an overview across 10s or 100s of elements – of the same type – in your baseline model.

To see a view of your baseline:

Choose a stereotype, for example, ArchiMate_BusinessProcess, and then ‘Analyze’.

This will show all instances of that stereotype in our model, which have a status of ‘Implemented’.

• Each cell in the map represents one element of the type you chose
• The size of each cell shows how many connectors each element has. This is a crude measure of complexity
• The coloring shows what is happening to that element:
  • Grey – there are no branches to that element, and no planned future versions.
  • Pink – there are some branches of this element, created by some projects
  • Orange – there is at least one ‘planned’ future version of this element
  • Red – there are both planned and branched version of this element
• Double-click on a cell to create or update a diagram showing the roadmap of the element.
