eaDocX document profiles define both the EA model used to generate the document and the element and Section formatting to be used.  If any document you have open was not generated from the EA model you have open, any document regeneration would produce unexpected results.

eaDocX allows you to open incompatible models and profiles so if you select Continue your model and document will both be open in EA.  However, all the eaDocX functions e.g. Adding Sections, changing profiles etc will not be accessible, to avoid you making changes that are associated with this model as well.  This is to prevent your document needing two different models to generate.

In addition, you will not be able to hand-edit any non EA generated text in the document.

In order to continue working in your document, close the document and re-open with the correct model open.
